Dr. Alrubaye completed his fellowship in nephrology at Emory University and served as Chief Resident during his internal medicine training at Atlanta Medical Center. He has also held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at Augusta University School of Medicine and an academic hospitalist at Northeast Georgia Health System.

As an academic core faculty hospitalist at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Dr. Alrubaye played a vital role in supervising and mentoring medical residents. He facilitated their professional growth by assisting in the development of case studies and fostering their research experiences.

Dr. Alrubaye also served as an executive physician in patient experience, spearheading initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction within the inpatient hospital setting. His dedication to improving the overall patient experience is a testament to his compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

In addition, Dr. Alrubaye has worked as a clinical nephrologist with Georgia Renal Associates, providing specialized care at Piedmont Athens Hospital and St. Mary Hospital in Athens. He actively engaged in teaching medical residents and treated patients dealing with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney disease, dialysis management, and hypertension

Currently affiliated with Northside Hospital at Gwinnett and Duluth campuses, Dr. Alrubaye is excited to introduce Georgia Kidney Clinic as the next chapter in his career.
